Popping Corn one serving at a time !289 viewsI thought you might be interested in this neat little piece I just picked up.
It was made by the Alart Co of New York and it is called "Pop O Mat"
It is a midget, bar top, fully functional popcorn machine. Probably early 1950's vintage.
Ok, its not a Manley ... but boy is it cool!
It is only 12" tall and 8" deep and 8 1/2" wide.
The little pan sets on a hot plate and the lid is suspended by a chain.
As the popcorn pops the lid moves up and the popcorn drops down into a serving tray.
It works great and makes one serving at a time.
It is exceptionally nice shape

The porcelain panels are slightly different colors. The 49 seems to have a bit more yellow in it.
