new pan heaters116 viewsThese are 240v 350w stainless steel strip heaters wired in 120v parallel to reduce the heat output. There is no thermostat. The manufacturer is Tempco, and purchased at Grainger. I had stud brackets welded and added a 1/8 inch aluminum plate for additional heat sink. My pan heater was missing and I could not find out the original configuration, so this is what I came up with. They may not be quite original, but they are functional and not really visible. Also I see another member found some new Chromalox strip heaters, which I did not know were available, and I don't know if they have stainless steel.

The porcelain panels are slightly different colors. The 49 seems to have a bit more yellow in it.
